ข่าว Riot Games ปลดพนักงานทีม League of Legends ออกจำนวนหนึ่ง บอกเพื่อปรับทิศทางทีม

Marc Merrill ผู้ร่วมก่อตั้ง Riot Games ซึ่งปัจจุบันเป็นประธาน (ร่วม) ของริษัท โพสต์ข้อความผ่าน Twitter/X ว่า Riot Games ต้องปลดพนักงานในทีม League of Legends เวอร์ชันพีซีออกจำนวนหนึ่ง

Merrill บอกว่าการปลดพนักงานครั้งนี้ไม่ได้เพื่อลดค่าใช้จ่าย แต่ต้องการปรับทิศทางของทีมให้เหมาะกับการเติบโตในอนาคต และยืนยันว่าขนาดของทีมพัฒนา League of Legends ในอนาคตจะมีขนาดใหญ่ขึ้นกว่าในปัจจุบันอย่างแน่นอน ผู้ที่ถูกปลดออกจะได้เงินชดเชยอย่างน้อย 6 เดือน โบนัสประจำปี และความช่วยเหลืออื่นๆ
